The new Motorola ThinkPhone will finally be available to non-corporate customers, and will be released at the end of January in the main markets with a price of around 1,000 euros.
One of the stars of the past CES 2023 in Las Vegas, the new Motorola ThinkPhone intended for the most professional public, it had surprised us on one hand and left us on the other with the desire to know more details of its launchand it is that the device is interesting for its concept and for offering a counterpoint to solutions business from other manufacturers.
At first it was believed that Motorola was going to put it only for sale as part of corporate service contractsalongside ThinkBook family notebooks and ThinkPad tablets, although it seems that strategy will be happily modified to sell to non-corporate clients.
According to roland quandtone of the most prolific leakers on the net, Lenovo executives saw such a restrictive launch as limitingso now they plan to put the Motorola ThinkPhone on sale in major markets at a price around 1,000 euros through agreements with some retailers.
It will be available in its base finish with a black carbon fiber weave, with a memory configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage without the possibility of expansion and arriving from end of this same month of January to select stores.
Obviously there is nothing official so we must take it with a grain of salt and keep track of the possible next announcement from Motorola, but there is the good news that we can buy a ThinkPhone if we want it even if it is not the company that provides it to us.
