My Hero Academia, the manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, has as one of its most interesting characters Tsuyu Asui, better known as Froppyinspiration for a beautiful cosplay bodypaint viralized on the internet.
This one-shot was adapted into a VOMIC that launched on January 11, 2015, which popularized the manga globally. The story takes place in a world where 80 percent of the population has developed gifts, thus emerging heroes and villains.
In addition to narrating the adventures of Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist, My Hero Academia also brought us Froppy, a student from Class 1-A at UA High School, training to become a Pro Hero.
She is a short girl with a relatively slim build compared to her classmates and has noticeably large hands. Interestingly, her appearance is rather frog-like: she has a very wide mouth, which sinks a bit in the middle like a common frog’s, and oval eyes with large black irises. She also demonstrates some gestures, such as jumping on “all fours” instead of running.
This particularity made the character popular, to the point that many My Hero Academia fans wanted to dress up as Tsuyu Asui and even painted her body to make bodypaint art.
Froppy’s beautiful bodypaint cosplay
Sleepy Laura, a cosplayer from New York specialized in bodypaint, with more than 8,000 followers on Instagram, shared on the social network a photo of his version of Froppy.
As we can see, the model manages to match Froppy’s original costume, but the most impressive thing is that she does it with paint on her body. Also, she has the same hair color as the My Hero Academia character, with a green undertone.
